MARJOLEIN FROM CANADA!!!!

Yesterday I finally met the most wonderful scrappers from The Netherlands! We had a party in the SCRAPSTORE DE DUIF, in Leeuwarden. A PARTY FO MARJOLEIN (see my favorites!) and Marjo was sooo VERY HAPPY TO SEE ALL HER GOOD FRIENDS AGAIN!!
There were tears from hapiness and GOODIES!
Look what Marjolein gave me: The card that I loved sooo very nuch. The card with the birdie and the great colors.......I am so happy with this one! And then all the goodies! The wonderful stamps, the lace, the ribbons and the brads......
And for the boy's a book and a Canadian mouse pad! So wonderful!
We have had such a great day! And yes, dear Mireille.....We should have gone out for din-din! But we'll do it again!! And we all keep in touch!
This little stupide girl.......I was allready close to Bolsward and then I (sob-sob.....) noticed that I did not bring my camera.......It made me a little sad......
Thank goodness dear Jeanet and the other girls did bring theirs, so.....
If you want to have fun: go to Jeanet Thiemessen: she's also at my FAVORITES!
So you can have a look how wonderful this day was!
In and between all the worries about Björn I am grateful that I could be with dear Marjo and the wonderful girls!
Thank you, Marjo......
Friends forever!!!

Poor Björn.....

Poor thing....
I am so sorry that he has to go to bed like this....
His bed all covered with plastics and red towels.....
Ofcourse he does NOT SLEEP in the plastic bag....
We remove it when he gets veru tired, because it is dangerous.....
But....It does help, because the piles of laundry do get higher and higher.......
But today we took him to the hospital for the pre-operation exams....
The operation is coming wendsday and THANK YOU ALL for your wonderful supports and prayers!
That all makes us strong! We are allowed to go in the operationroom until he sleeps ans that is also very good for all of us!

Peters ROSE.....and pond.....and my sad day......

I

'The pond is completely OUT! Too bad...I loved the frogs and the pretty plants in it!Perhaps it can go into the front yard? Hm....Nice idea..Have to think about this......
Otherwise...I you know somebody who wants to buy a goodlooking (joke) fishpond.....Sent him over!Peter loves ROSES.....Also Guns and Roses, but this one is for him! He bought the roseplant and the colors are so pretty! Hope you enjoy it as well.

I had a rough day....
This monday was Absolutely NOT OUR DAY! Bjorn started bleeding again out of his nose.....
Unexpected I had to take him to the doctor and this good man did sent us to the hospital right away.....
The specialist told us that Bjorn needs an operation as soon as possible! This will not be easy with his braindamage and all his tumors.......
It will be an awfull time.....
Coming thursday I have to take him in for all kinds of medical exams, cause the doctors need to find out, whether Bjorn can survive going under......His brains are not very strong......
Then....The operation will be on the (OMG!!!) 13 st of august!!
Peter is at work.....He doesn't know yet.......He has to drive a long way and I don't want to worrie him right now. Tonight will be soon enough.......
I hope you all say a little prayer for our boy these coming day's and weeks.....
He's sitting in bed, covered with orange towels and dressed in red clothes, so the stains will not get to bad in his clothes.....
I had to put him gloves on, cause he can't stay away from this terrible NOSE! Thank God he has the most wonderful and caring brother in the world! Ingmar is right next to him and he cares very good for Björn! I am also in the bedroom. We picknicked on the bed.......
What else to do?
Hope to make life a little more bareble for both my sweeties........
Also the dog is a very good help! He wants to be in bed also so he can get all the pets from the boy's!
Hope your day was a little less stressfull then ours,
sincerely, Jen.

Tomatoes and pumpkins.....

Remember I was a little worried about my tiny tomatoe-plants and my precious pumkin-plants?
Tehy are doing so very well! Ofcourse I have to look for the snailes every day, but these plants are worth it! I can't wait till coming day.....When I awake, I take the dog and together we run into the yard like two happy hearts......
I can hardly wait till the pumpkins are ready! I will keep you informed about these beauties!

Here is our little "paradise".

Here is the place were we like to sit and eat, drink, read, scrap, play......Short to go....This is were we live when the summer is so beautiful. Even during the rain, when the temperature is nice, we sit here. We try to make it cousy with candles, flowers, books, blankets and pillows.....

My lovely bell pepper!

I almost gave up my bell pepper! This plant got lice and boy, oh, boy....The lice did attack the leaves!!!
I made a very old recipe from my grandma and I treated the leaves with this med.
The bell pepper survived!
I also vertilized the "baby"and look here! All my "talking"helped!
The plant is blooming again and.......Even has green bell peppers again!
Wonderful gift! In a couple of weeks I can oick them and we eat them with pasta's......Lovely!

Hard labour!

During the very warm weather the yard-work continued.......
HARD LABOUR!
THIRSTY WEATHER!
Peter needed to lay down for a couple of minutes to drink a lot of sugared water.
The dog still's the partner in crime!
The yard is getting emptier and emptier.....
