No...I did not miss the Challenge, but I ran out of time, because we had to fly earlier to Egypt and we had to leave home earlier....
So....
I did not found the time to mail this card to Renate.
I apoligized to her allready.....
It's not my thing to miss out a challenge!
It is my responsibility to sent in a card every two weeks!
Thank goodness Renate took it very good!
Hope you all will forgive me too!

Maaike and Martin: 40 years husband and wife!!!

A nice couple are celebrating their 40 year anniversary together as husband and wife.
They are close friends to my parents-in-law and in earlier day's I was the teacher of their two sons.
So I made this card for them!

We let go our adopted seals with school.

Saturday, 22 sd of october we went with the parents and students of our small school to Lauwersoog. The seals-creche Lenie 't Hart in Pieterburen hired a boat for the whole school to give our two adopted seals there freedom back!
What an EVENT!
What a wonderful happening!
What a school to be proud of and what a great kids to run for saving animals! GOOD JOB! These kids are real HERO'S!
So...Diderik and Alicia are swimming some were in the sea now, eating fish and having fun!

A wonderful week in beautiful Egypt!

Peter and I spent the Dutch autumn holiday in Egypt.
It wsa so warm and so very nice there!
We stayed in The Titanic Beach aqua & Spa Resor in Hurghada and we really enjoyed it there!
The hotel was so nice, the aquaparc great, the beach wonderful and the people, animals and food all three GREAT!
We met some nice people from Wales (UK) and we really had a lot of fun all together! Thank you, Terry, Maureen, Doug and Sue for the nice talks we had and for all the laughs we shared together!
All the negative stories on the internet about this hotel?
We can only say: THE FOOD WAS GREAT, THE STAFF OF THE HOTEL WAS CARING AND VERY NICE....BEACH LOOKS GREAT AS YOU CAN SEE, THE AQUA PARC IS FOR FREE (and what a fun this was!!!!), THE RED SEA IS SO BEAUTIFUL....
What else can a tired couple wish for?
We will go back to this place!
It was simply GREAT!

Paper&Pictures Fairytale Event 2011.

Begin october I was in Doorn for three day's to scrap my little scrap-heart out! What a joy! What a wonderful EVENT! Great teachers and awesome workshops! But also the place Doorn is such a cute town to be! My hotelroom was also wonderful and the food lovely!
I met the men from ECHO PARK! Two enthousiastic men! So funny and cute!
ANd I met the ladies from the pretty GRAPHIC 45! The young women live in Portland (Oregon), so we had a lot to talk about!
Finally I made a picture of the beautiful things they made with the GRAPHIC 45 papers and embellies.
And every day there was a little gift from Paper&Pictures on the bed.
